We had a wonderful Thanksgiving on Broadacre Farm with the Henderson's. We drove up that morning, to spend time with the family. We got to take peanut's pictures outside under the two oak trees with the farm land view in the background. We stuffed ourselves full of turkey, ham, dressing, corn, green beans, sweetpotato casserole, mac and cheese, potato salad and some blueberry salad for dessert. Kale even ate some turkey and mac and cheese. Mimi snuck him some blueberry dessert! All that great home cooked food followed by none other that a wonderful afternoon nap. Then I helped Carol and Nat figure out the christmas tree lights while Will went hunting. He came back with a doe! YAY! Then we packed up and headed home.
I had an early morning of shopping. I was up at 3:15 and at my sister's house by 3:45. We got to Kohls by 4:30am. There were lots of people and LOTS of great deals. I came home with some Christmas presents, but not much. I didn't plan as well as I did last year. I should have! Last year I came home with all but 2 Christmas presents. Oh well! We stayed at Kohls the whole time, getting home about 10am.
I hope everyone else had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday!
